Daily cleaner instructions

it's time to shine

Our instructions are simple, but some important concepts to consider:

Dwell time: This is the time you let the product sit.

Agitation: This step includes shaking the bottle and wiping, which suspends the heavier elements in our solution after they have settled through gravity. It also involves wiping, to spread the mixed solution throughout a predefined area.

Final Wipe: This step is both for removing unwanted residue (food and other agents) after being chemically loosened from the stone's surface. It also speeds drying time.

Final Buff: In this last step, you lightly polish the stone surface to bring out shine.

And Importantly: Our product is amazing at what it does. It is a beefy, muscular solution with a bold permit to work on all stone surfaces. What it does NOT do, is "clean away" etches, or get rid of what some describe as cloudiness, or dullness. We will show you everything you need to know about permanent etches in our video titled "etches" on this page... most especially, you will learn how to identify this particular type of damage and how it is repaired.

We have a story to tell

We were never meant to be. The story of our beginnings is here to remind you that you can.

This day... today... is for you to appreciate and move it. Not even a lot, just an inch. A little push forward more than before.

This is a clean story.

Sealers

The bunny & hat trick finally revealed

From here on, you will understand sealers from start to finish. You will never feel inadequate again, nor let anyone promise you something that can't be delivered.

Unlike sealers made for surfaces other than stone, sealers employed in our industry are not topical-- meaning, they do not coat a surface above its top layer. Instead, the most efficient, stone-specific sealers are absorbed by microscopic pores (existing underneath that smooth, shiny top), which structure resembles a bathroom sponge when magnified.

When a staining agent (such as a sports drink) tries to burrow its way deep into the pores, it is 'caught' and repelled by the sealer. Similar to the way oil repels water.

Confusion around sealers are due to these attributes:

Sealers do not prevent etching, but they do prevent deep staining. Deep staining may make an entire slab of stone unrepairable, which is quite an expensive ordeal: The only solution to fix a deeply-stained stone surface is removal and replacement. Which is why sealers are so important.

Using incorrect cleaners (any cleaner not formulated specifically for stone) on your surfaces can wear, damage or remove the sealer altogether. If your sealer is not in working order, you are only one accidental spill away from loss of time and money.

This video is a "can't miss" essential foundation to your understanding of daily stone care / maintenance.

Scratches

Bring you microscope for this

You already know that dragging a hard object on your stone will create a permanent scratch, but did you know that the same thing happens when a grain of sand glides by, trapped underneath a towel? Sure, you may not be able to see it, but when this is repeated hundreds of times over months, shine begins to fade.

And there's more to it than that. Which is what this video covers.

STAINING

how deep does it go?

The structure of a stone resembles a bath sponge, under magnification.

It is also absorbs fluids the same way.

Our concern is how deep into surface a pigment is allowed to go. If it is as deep as 1mm, then the stain can be removed, but if it's half an inch, you are looking at a serious expense to consider repairing.

Our Daily Cleaner has an integral role in keeping this type of damage at bay. This video is required viewing for anyone reading this far.

ETCHES

you can't miss this video

The etch.

The bad guy of the story.

Did you know your stone surface can be etched yet again, immediately after it has been professionally restored?

Find out what else is involved with this type of stone damage.

This video is not just educational, it is a public service announcement for checking accounts all over the U.S.

WHAT IS A NEUTRAL STONE CLEANER

this is for serious students only

For some, the very word 'neutral' may have associations with 'indifferent', or 'uninvolved'.

Therefore, the need for this video. Our Daily Cleaner is not neutral, as far as its cleaning capacity is concerned. What we're talking about is its chemical classification.

Neutral, is the only type of solution which will not damage your surface, its shine, nor its sealer.

In this video, we cover more about what these things affect your stone-ownership experience.

USING THE PROPER PRODUCTS
TO MAINTAIN YOUR STONE
